What started as a ministry of the church has now grown into a thriving preschool/Child Care Center accredited by the State of Maryland, EXCELS Level 4.

At LCYC, we believe that children learn best through play. As a play-based, parent participation preschool, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore, grow, and discover through music, art, drama, cooking, reading, and sensory experiences. Our dedicated teachers and staff design purposeful and developmentally appropriate activities, offering hands-on exploration in every aspect of the classroom. By focusing on a whole-child approach, we emphasize social-emotional development alongside cognitive skills, allowing children the freedom to express themselves as they navigate the world around them.
