Children in Worship
Children are always welcome in Worship. Worship bags that include a children’s Bible, pencil, paper, and a children’s bulletin are available in a basket in the narthex. For children who are not ready to stay throughout the service, parents may choose from the following options:
For babies and toddlers: Supervised care for babies and toddlers is available in the nursery on the first floor. A closed circuit video feed of the service, available in the parlor, located outside the double doors beside the chancel, enables parents to stay with their young children outside the sanctuary and still see and hear the service.
For children: Pre-schoolers through fifth graders are invited to attend the first part of the service through the singing of the second hymn. Then they are welcome to go to Children’s Worship where they are introduced, with adult supervision, to aspects of worshipping God through art, drama, recreation, prayer, and Bible study.
