Wednesday Night Lenten Series

Wednesdays @ 7:30 PM, Feb 17 - April 7

Special introductory session Monday Feb 15@ 7:30 PM

Contemplative dialogue involves reflecting on a variety of themes in the context of our everyday lives. At its richest, it is simply listening to others without judgment or evaluation and sharing with them one’s own experiences, thoughts, and questions as they flow from the session themes. Using Bridges to Contemplative Living with Thomas Merton, we’ll read the Psalms along with other contemporary spiritual Christian writings to enter into contemplative dialogue.  Within this group, our contemplative dialogue will help foster a more profound relationship with ourselves, with others, with God, and with the created world.

Co-taught by Rev. Adele Crawford and Rev. Jay Bowling. This course meets Wednesdays, Feb 17 through April 7 at 7:30 PM, with an intro session on Monday Feb 15 (7:30 PM).  Contact Rev. Adele to register and to receive a book ($6, but if cost is a hardship let Rev. Adele know).
